Our History
Amani Chapter #561 became a chartered member of Modern Free and Accepted
Masons, Inc. on March 7th 2001. Amani means peace. The Webster Dictionary defines peace as 1 : a state of tranquillity
or quiet: as a : freedom from civil disturbance b : a state of security or order within a community provided for by law or
custom. There are many biblical references referring to peace within ones self and throughout God's nations.
When Amani was founded it was the ideals of the founders to bring peace based on being righteous. Through our interaction
in the communites and charity work that we do that is our focus on achieving inner peace and tranquility.
Our Mission
Our mission is to further promote the interests of our organization throughout our community.
We strive to make a difference by educating the public and expanding our reach. The purpose of this organization is to increase
the popularity of our common interests. We hope to add new members so we will be able to grow and expand. We also want to
have fun while we are together and working on projects. By developing relationships and friendships, the organization
will become even stronger. As God continues to guide our organization we hope to achieve these goals.
